Privacy Policy

MarginRight is a buying calculator for UK independent motor dealers. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at marginright1@gmail.com.

When you register your interest we collect your name, email address and business name. You may also choose to tell us your type of business, roughly how many vehicles you buy each month, and a free-text message. We also record when you gave consent and the wording you agreed to.

We use your details to contact you about early access to the MarginRight buying calculator and to understand what dealers need. Our legal basis is your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). We do not sell your data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Your details are stored in a database provided by Supabase, and this website is hosted by Vercel. These providers process data on our behalf. Access is limited to the MarginRight team. The public website cannot read the waiting list back.

We keep your details until early access has opened and we have contacted you, for up to 12 months, or until you withdraw your consent, whichever is sooner.

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
